Summer: Bad Mitterndorf offers many relaxing leisure and sports activities. In the spring there is the popular daffodil festival and in the fall the forests are colourful and stunning. There are many lakes that are ideal for swimming. The Alp street to the Tauplitz Alp rises to 1600 metres above sea level and starts directly next to our hotel. The hotel offers a wonderful panorama view of Grimming, Totes Gebirge (dead mountains) and the glacier Dachstein. Winter: The ski run of our family ski area ends near our hotel which means that you can ski until our doorstep, if there is enough snow. Our hotel is a great location for ski holidays as it is in Bad Mitterndorf, in the ski area Tauplitz alp - one of the areas of Austria where snow can be guaranteed. The area can get up to 5 metres of snow and in March we normally still have around 3 metres snow. The 200 km loipe in Bad Mitterndorf, Ausseerland, is ideal for cross-country skiing for all levels of ability. The loipe entry area starts only 200 metres from our hotel.
